Working On The Imaginary Object is developed at Casino Luxembourg during a one-week intensive workshop with a group of performers. Together, we create a choreography based on collective exercises that explore processes of attention, coordination, and imagination. Throughout the workshop, situations emerge that can only be resolved through the group's collaborative engagement.
From fragile and powerful, hesitant and decisive moments, a sequence of moving images unfolds, accompanied by a live-modulated soundscape by Stefan Zintel. The performance explores how an imaginary object is shaped through shared perception and collective action, continuously transforming throughout the process.

Working On The Imaginary Object entsteht im Casino Luxembourg im Rahmen eines einwöchigen Intensivworkshops mit einer Gruppe von Performer*innen. Gemeinsam entwickeln wir eine Choreografie aus kollektiven Übungen, in denen Prozesse der Aufmerksamkeit, Koordination und Imagination im Mittelpunkt stehen. Immer wieder entstehen Situationen, die nur durch das Zusammenspiel der Gruppe gelöst werden können.
Aus fragilen und kraftvollen, zögernden und entschlossenen Momenten entwickelt sich eine Abfolge bewegter Bilder, begleitet von einem live modulierten Sound von Stefan Zintel. Die Performance untersucht, wie sich ein imaginäres Objekt durch gemeinsame Wahrnehmung und Handlung formt und fortwährend verändert.
